WELCOME .....come on in and let's chat awhile .
That is just fairy dust falling. Just knock the dust off of your shoes and come on in !

Saturday, January 8

I sure don't need to be looking at this cookbook, but I just love to read them . This is one of the Gooseberry cookbooks . I have several of their books and really enjoy them . So I guess I will kick back and see if I can find me a good one pot meal to cook . They are calling for a sizeable amount of snow for us tomorrow night. We are having more snow than usual for this area . I am so ready for the springtime !

I went to the doctor Monday and I had good news and bad news . The good news is the cancer is gone on my lymph node beside my aorta !! Isn't God great ! See what your sweet prayers are doing ? But now there are 2 pea size nodules in my right lower lung . I go back to the doctor the 1st of Feb. I have to have an xray before I go back . Will have to see what he is going to do next . I expect I will be having a biopsy. So please keep praying for me. I told my family I am like an old leaky hose, they get me patched up in one spot and then I spring a leak somewhere else.

I am working on my blog, trying to figure some things out. It is getting frustrating. I can't get the size of the picures right for my blog header. So please excuse the mess while I am under construction.

Love ya'll

I'm so sorry you are going through this, Theresa. You will certainly continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. One thing I must say, I love your attitude on the whole thing. That's a good part of your battle. Go try one of those one pot meals and let me know how it turns out. I've gotten several recipes from you and I've liked each one. I'm ready for another!!

Hurray, you posted. For a minute I thought I was on the wrong blog. You always have the best headers. I know you will have a good one soon. Theresa, I always pray for you my dear blogging friend. I am thankful for the one blessing but concerned about the nodules. You are amazing with your humor and I love you for that. I know you have your moments of deep concern with all you have gone through. Yes, God is good. I am asking Him to keep watch over you everyday. I mean it. When you posted this we were in Florida for our grandson;s wedding. I posted it this past Tuesday. It was a wonderful time with family and the wedding was beautiful.

It is so cold tonight that our heat is not great. It is 8 degrees. I'm about to crawl in my electric blanket.

Goodnight my dear friend,
Warm hugs, Jeanne

Theresa, yes, it is showing and it is beautiful. Are those your perfume bottles? What a pretty collection. I love your header. When I was here last time you were working on it. A great idea my dear friend. Good job.

Blessings and love, Jeanne

O so glad to hear the good news. As for the bad, I will keep praying for the doctors to finally get the "ole leaky hose" all patched.

I think we all have trouble getting our header pictures just the right size. Sometimes, mine is so large, it gives me a headache to look at it. I just keep going back to photoscape and resizing it.
So, just hang in there and you'll get it right.

Yippee Jesus about about your news- we will just pray those two little peas away too.

Theresa you asked about my header- I used Mosiac maker to make the header then brought it down to the size I needed- then went to Piknic to write the Header name. Here is the addy to mosiac maker

Piknic is

If you have problems let me now and maybe you can email me the pictures you want and I/ll work with it. We will be going out of town this weekend so I might not be able to get right to it but would love to help if I can-

Dear Theresa...Prayers surround you from total strangers but we are the best of friends. One of "ours" needs us and we are here...you are never alone. We are a circle of girls who share..sentimental journeys..life...likes...dislikes...we are all somehow linked together! We share too taking what may seem forlorn or perhaps of disrepair...we give it new life. I would love to take an old leaky hose...wrap it lovingly around into a circle...I would embellish it with love...and then I would hag it proudly in my garden..it was a piece of the past...it has a new repourposed future. It is admired for its strength of how it holds up...takes on all the weathering challenges. It is surrounded by the friendly flowers in my garden.
Theresa my dear...will you please
be my leaky little hose?

G'morning, Sunshine,
I hope things are going much better by now. All of us would love to have an update from time to time, if you feel like it. If now, it's ok, because you are in our hearts and minds all the time.
I just this minute sent up a prayer for you. Hoping you are feeling good today.
Love, bj
