I Am Praising The Lord !!!!!!!!!!

I have my results back and I know you have guessed it already.....NEGATIVE...NEGATIVE...NEGATIVE ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
PRAISE THE LORD ! ! And I know I was using capitals, because I am shouting ! The nurse said negative and no signs of cancer . I still want you to continue to pray for my mom . She goes Thursday for her biopsy. We have made it over this hurdle and now we need prayers for her results.

We want to thank each and everyone of you for praying for us . If we could we would give each of you a big old hug ! I wish I was good with words, I wish I could pour out my hearts feelings to you right now. I am so-o-o--o greatful of each and everyone of you. I will probably never meet or even hear your voices but we are all sisters in Christ.May God bless each and everyone of you and his blessings shine down on you .

Please continue to pray for my sons also. One has a part time job right now. But that is better than nothing.

Update ......

I won't hear the scan results until Monday. I'll let you know when I get them.


I want to thank each and eveyone of you sweet ,sweet people who are sending prayers my way to me and my family. You don't know how much this means to us . Mother even said she wasn't hurting anywhere yesterday.And mentioned that someone must really be praying for her.Then I told her they were, that I had ask for prayer for all of us on my blog.We have read all the comments and cried together. Hugs to all of you wonderful sweet souls !

Wednesday I had an appointment with the chemo Dr.It was just a routine visit.I had to have a chest xray before I went.When I got there everything went great,chest xray was clear,thank you Lord !I have also made it cancer free for another year ! It has now been 4 years since diagnosis and I am cancer free ! Praise the Lord ! I am so thankful !

BUT ......... the Dr. office called me yesterday and told me the Dr. wants me back in the office TODAY for a CT scan.It seems there is a concern about a bloodtest called a CEA Test.I looked it up on the internet and it is something about protein in the blood.And in cancer patients it is related to colon and pancreas cancer.
Needless to say we are terrified. I cried all day yesterday.
My mom had a pap smear and her Dr. called her to come back and that they were going to have to do a biopsy on her. She goes next Thurs.So we have had a double whammy to hit this family at the same time !
That is why I am asking for your prayers at this time.Prayer is what brought me through for the esophagus cancer, it was horrible, but that is another post later.So please remember us at this time.Nobody knows how much this means to a person til you have to go through this. And I hope nobody has to go through this.I also have 2 sons out of work and unable to draw unemployment benefits because they were independent contractors. The construction company shut down due to the economy.
I pray that you all would pray for the Lord to help all of us, I would so much appreciate it.

I don't know how long I will have to wait for the results,but I will post it here when I find out.Thank you so much and I love all of you!

I bought this dish many years ago at a flea market. I just couldn't resist it !
Found these plates at Walmart last year, set of 4 each for $10.00.What a bargain !Found the napkins at a yard sale.This was a great yardsale,she had some good stuff !
Isn't this tea pot just adorable ! I'll tell you more about it below.

And this is my new tablecloth I found at TJ Maxx on clearance for $7.00

I found this sweet little teapot set at a church yard sale.It has the teapot, creme and sugar,4 cups and saucers.I got all of it for ,hold onto your hat ! Just $2.00 !!I love the little feet on them.

And last this is a faux plant I have.But the container is something I found on the side of a curb on trash day. LoL,it looks brand new and is made out of some kind of dried grass.I know this centerpiece is too tall when serving guest at the table but I wouldn't use it if I was having guest, I would resort to something else.

This little table is a pic from my favorite store located in Dayton,Tn.The store name is "The Gathering Place " owned by Angie,who is a very sweet gal !

I love this little blue tablecloth.I sure wish I could find one. But I haven't run upon one yet . I like the little cup and saucer wall pockets too. But I just don't have another empty space for them in my kitchen . I got too much stuff ! But I can't help it cuz I love my stuff ! LOL !

Fast and furious ...............................

That is how the garden is bearing ! I am out picking every morning at 6:30am . Trying to pick before the sun gets too hot.I don't do well in the heat anymore. I love seeing what I find every morning. Today I found green beans,zuchini, yellow squash and green tomatoes. I love fried green tomatoes ! I will put these green tomatoes in with my squash today when I cook them .
I think I am doing pretty well with this garden,beings as I have had no help with it. Grand daughter did come and help me weed yesterday morning; she said "boy mamaw,this is a total body workout isn't it ?" LOL . I"ll second that !!
When I get time I will post a good squash casserole recipe for you to try .

This Little Cloche Of Mine ..................

This is my apothecary jar that I keep out most of the time . I found the green apples at Hobby Lobby.The apothecary jar came from Ross.I have found that Ross has a very fair price for their jars.I think I paid about $12.00 for this one.

And this is my faux cheese and bread under this cloche. You can put anything your little heart desires under these little domes.Sometimes I put pastries under the dome,but they don't last long.

This is my big daddy cloche, LOL . I love the stacked cup and saucers under it. I have a very small cloche that I forgot to take a pic of. I have put a single cupcake under it before and I also put small figurines under it also. I have put bigger figurines under the large one.
So go ahead and be creative. I can't wait to see what everyone else has hidden under their cloches

Hi girls ! Here we are again for Blue Monday hosted by our sweet Sally . This is a pic of my grandson and all of his grandmothers.Isn't he a cutie patootie ! He is just precious, but I would think that wouldn't I.... LOL . He has about decided that he wants to be a teacher.He still longs to travel the world some though.In the pic from left to right is Mamaw Joy, his mother's mom. Me, Mamaw Theresa, his daddy's mom.And last Mamaw Wilma, his great grandmother, my mom.

Some of the best places are in our own back door , oh gosh I already said that LOL. Oh well it's true. This a state park less than 45 minutes from my house . A lot of people go here and camp and play.It also has a big hotel there.This is Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tenn.

See the big rock formation hanging out there ? Click to enlarge the pic and you can barely see where you can walk out and look over. Not me ! I am terrified of heights ! Baby granddaughter took these pics. I am chicken and I hung back !

This is a pic of the falls.It is a long way down to the bottom.I didn't go because they would of had to have a crane to get me back up to the top, LOL !

Isn't this pretty ? Nature is amazing ! Now I gotta go get in the garden and take care of some weeds ! Yuck !
