I'm a busy little blogger !
I showed ya'll this pic way back in the fall . I bought this little chest of drawers on the 450 mile flea market for $5.00 .
I am just now getting around to painting it. I am going to paint it antique white. I am putting it in my kitchen .I'm thinking about putting my silverware in it.
I am so slow about getting anything acomplished anymore ! It is so frustrating !
Stay tuned .....

Theresa these are just beautiful!! I've never done anything like this and am very impressed. You did such a nice job. They must be gorgeous in person. The rose one will be beautiful also.
You are so funny with your post about the ticks!!! I can just see you hopping all over the place. We had ticks in a tree a couple years ago and my poor dogs got the brunt of it. Cost me a fortune to finally get rid of all of them. Totally gross!!! Can't imagine those things on me. They like you because you are so sweet!!!
oH, I remember when you got this...it is going to be precious in your kitchen...Now I AM LOOKING FOR ONE...and, of course, I want it for FIVE DOLLARS !! haha
As for being SLOW on things...I get so dang frustrated, too. I think, "Oh, I can whip this out in just a little bit"...then it takes me forever and I get so mad at myself. Sure am slow at things...guess it's my age ...oh, well, it gets done sooner or later..
hugs, bj
Can't wait to see how it turns out! It's really cute and a great find!
All the best,
Allison
Thereasa, I am the same way! So many projects sitting around but no time to do them because I am a good blogger...LOL ;)
I can't wait to see what you do with this furniture!
Nancy
Hi Theresa! I know why you're so slow on painting this little chest - you've been so busy embroidering! Can't wait to see what you do!
Thanks for coming to see me! Yes, everything is my mother's favorite!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Theresa, You will get it done. I am slow too. I have started painting the guest bathroom for three days in a row. I still only have a tad done. I am waiting to see if I really like the color. My excuse. Ha! I love the color. I am worried about cutting in around the baseboards. I'm not sure I can get on the floor. LOL
Happy painting my friend.
Hugs...Jeanne
I wasn't here when you bought this, so it is my first time to see it. Can't wait to see it when you're done with it!
Many hugs..........
Diane
So glad to hear from you!! have a great weekend...m.
Don't be frustrating, do what you like and need, and do it in your own tempo.
Blogging is very exciting and I understand you/I am addictid/.
But when I noticed that my back, legs, etc. become in pain, finelly in big pain, I tell to myself - slowly, slowly.
It took me more than 2 months to repair my back, legs.
Take care
and God bless you!
Very nice chest and good idea for silverware.
Can't wait to see your job.
Good luck!
Very cute piece, Theresa! Can't wait to see what you do with it!

Sheila

Hi Theresa, I found your blog via Barb at French Elements. I LOVE those pillowcases! I cross-stitch(was hooked--had to put the needles down when I was cooking with one hand and cross-stitching with the other--LOL!!) I can't wait to see the chest finished.Don't you just love to RESCUE old furniture. I'd rather do that than eat--and I LOVE food. If you have time, stop by the farmhouse and see some of my "sentimental" treasures. We love company

Theresa, I love the table and the price tag. I have a $5.00 stand I should post. I love it and would never part with it. I bought it at an estate sale. A man built it and so it is even more special. I passed it up the first day with a price of $10 but I kept thinking about so went back the next day thinking it would be gone. I was so happy it was still there.
Hello, sister friend...
I am blogging about you on Sunday..be sure to come over and take a bow!!
xo bj
Good things are worth the wait, and I'm certain this will be wonderful.
Theresa, those pillowcases are the most gorgeous thing I've ever laid my eyes on. I love the all white look.
Hi Theresa, I came over to see your progress. Be sure and post the finished table. I hope you had a great weekend.
Hugs...Jeanne
Theresa, I've seen signs of how busy you've been at BJ's and Dot's. You are such a sweet lady!
Hi Theresa! I am answering you right back because I do love you! I'm hearing all over blogland about the wonderful things you're doing! I saw the sign for BJ and the pillow cases for Rue! Girl, you're an angel!!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Theresa, I don't know how I found your blog, but I am glad that I did! I too, am a grandma, actually NANA. to three babies. My husband and I both lost jobs so we had to retire as no one would hire us so close to retirement age. I love vintage china, glass, and linens. I re-paint furniture too! Juat like you, it takes me forever to finish anything. I used to clean my house in three hours, now it takes me three days!!
I love the embroidery that you do. My mother used to do that when she was younger, but we have nothing of hers to save. What a wonderful God given talent. Your work is absolutely breathtaking! I really like your blog and will be a regular reader!
Bless you, ginny
Hi Busy little blogger,
Hope all is well.
That was a great find and such a terrific price. Don't worry about painting it- it will get done when it is time.
hugs,
Barb

Good Morning, dear Theresa!
