Hey......I'm back-k-k--k ............

This is why I have been so quiet . I can't just sit and watch TV , I have to be doing something . So a few months ago I found these pillow cases to embroider . And when I start something and I like it , I can't lay it down until I finnish it . That is why I don't read alot of books. If I start a book and it grabs me , I stay up all night reading it and read it while I am cooking etc. etc . In other words I don't get anything done around here .
I havent' embroidered anything in years and years. But I really did enjoy this project. In fact I liked it so much I went back and bought 3 more pairs. I have started a pair with a big rose on it. I will show them when I am through working on them.

Good morning Theresa, your pillow cases are beautiful to say the least. Girl you can embroider. I am working on some pillow cases too. Nothing as gorgeous as yours. some bears etc. for the cabin. I am so slow. Lord have mercy, I will be forever at the rate I am going. Taking a break is not a bad idea. This summer we will be gone for several weeks and I will be taking a break then. Have a happy day,

Hugs...Jeanne

Hi Theresa! Oh, I've missed you and now I know why! Your embroidery is just so beautiful! I've never seen pillow cases done in all white! I love this. I love to embroider too, but at the moment I don't have time! I may have to borrow your idea of the all white - it's beautiful!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Welcome baaaaaaaaaaaackkkkk...

The pillowcases are lovely!! I love the ladies!!!

I learned how to embroider when I was 6 years old...an aunt taught me. I don't think I've embroidered in the last 30 years at all. Maybe someday...maybe not.

We're on another Looooooooong BREAK from blogging! But, I'll be around occasionally.

~Blessings,
Jan

They are absolutely beautiful Theresa! I love to embroider and cross stitch, but haven't been able to do it in a quite some time due to my eyes. Got new eye glasses today, so maybe I can pick it back up again! How in the world did you ever do that white-in-white?! It is lovely, but I believe I would have gone cross-eyed!!!! Can't wait to see the next pair!

Many hugs.......

Diane

I am the same way about staying with something until it's finished. Can't tell you how many nights I have painted all night long, just so I would be FINISHED ! And a good book...oh, yes..I read it day and night until it is finished, too...

Those pillowcases are stunning! I envy you being able to embroider. I tried it but just could not get the hang of it. I love the white on white.

OH MY WORD...girl these are so beautiful they make me cry...the pattern is glorious...what an amazing talent you have...oh girl..these touch my heart so I can't even begin to tell you....Would you be willing to sell me a pair...seriously...I would be so honored to have such a treasure made by your own hands like that...I'm not kidding girl.please let me know if you would sell a pair....Do you even realize what beauty you have created...not just beauty on the outside appearance but beauty that is a part of you...every stitch...every little knot..you don't haphazardly learn something like that...it has to be in one's soul and heart..even if you aren't selling sis...I just want you to know your post has made my day...have a great week sweetie!

Oh My Gosh Theresa!! You must be my twin!! I am exactly the same way!! I seldom read books either! My sister sent me one a month or so ago...one of a series. I called her the next day for the rest and she said No, guess she was going to have to'ration' me!!
Those pillowcases are gorgeous!!!!!!!
I haven't emroidered in years...still have tons of threads all organized too! I made my Mom some Hummel picts...the last time is sat to do any embroidery. Of all my folks possessions, those picts are all I hope to own at their passing (which had better not be soon!)
Cowboy gets frustrated with me and my "obessessing" when I take on projects. What's the point I say, in starting something if I cannot complete it all in one setting??
