Welcome to Wednesday Outdoor ............

This is a pic of a very unusual huge rock near my house. As most of you know , I live on a mountain, so we have alot of mountain stone and big ole rocks up here. This rock is known around here by all the locals as " window rock ". You can click on the pic to make it larger. Now can you see it better ? See the big hole ? That is why it is called window rock . You can walk right through the rock . The road that window rock is located on is named Window Rock Road .

Outdoor Wednesday is being hosted by Susan at " A Southern Daydreamer ".This is something new she has started . All you have to do is submit a pic of anything outdoors. Now that ain't hard is it ? LOL .

To see more Wednesday Outdoor pics go see Susan . Just click on the button to your right in my sidebar.

Theresa, I have tried to comment to you today and have not been able to connect to you or anyone else I was on at Beverly's this AM and that was it. Bill finally got me up. He worked today and just came home a bit ago.

I love your big window rock and the story about it. I should say HUGE rock. I like Susan's idea of Outdoor Weds. I did post something this afternoon.

Wow! The rock is absolutely wonderful! I live near mountains and have done a lot of four-wheeling. I don't think I have ever seen a formation so unique.

Hi Theresa, Outdoor Wednesday sounds like something I might like. Thanks for the info.

That is some big beautiful rock. There is one very similar in the Desota State Park. I think you told me that you live pretty close to Lookout Mt.!
