Let's see what is in the treasure chest .................

Let's knock off some of the dust and see what is inside . You can click on any pic to enlarge. When you are through looking at my treasures you can click on "House Of Roses" and it will take you to more treasures to look at . Cielo has hosted this treasure show for us. Thank you sweetie !

Oh my goodness my stuff is spilling out everywhere. Now let's see what we have here.
Starting at the back left there is a pic of my mom and me when I was a little girl, and see that necklace hanging in the middle ? That was my mom's when she was a young girl, you probably can't see it in the pic but it's a mustard seed inside the glass ball.It speaks in the Bible of having the faith the size of a mustard seed doesn't it ?
And next to the necklace is another necklace. This little necklace is my baby necklace that was put on me when I was born.It has blue beads and the white beads are my last name, which was "Guinn".The little box in the upper right hand corner was a gift from my grandson, there is an angel in the box and a verse talking about gmothers being angels. He is so sweet ! I love you Justin !
Now back to the left .I have a big pearl tassel hanging from the corner, I don't know if you can make out heads or tales about it, but I just love it, I love tassels. I will do a post on them some day.The little bitty pic is of my mom in the first grade. Then there is a pic of my gmother Ruth and I.It is in a pretty pink glass frame.

The blue cup and saucer was a gift from my very best friend Becky. I miss Becky so much.We were closer than sisters. Becky is an angel now, she died 2 years ago, sniff, sniff. You can't see the next cup and saucer very well, but it is one of my favorites. I just love to have my coffee in a pretty cup.I really do believe it makes it taste better ! And my baby bracelet is hanging on that cup .

Now in the front on your left, that little pitcher is a syrup pitcher. It has been in my father's family for years and years.I don't know how old it is but it has been broken and glued back together around the lip.But I don't care, I wouldn't take anything for it. It is sentimental to me. It has a number on the bottom of it and nothing else. The number is " 4". Jeanne do you know what that means ?

Can you see the little box in the middle at the bottom ? That was a gift to me one Christmas from my sweet little customer Mrs. Gary. I styled her hair for years, she was one of my sweetest customers ! She has passed on also. Sigh . The little vase belonged to another customer of mine and her daughter brought it to me said I could have it to remember her mother by.

And the last thing is the linen and the crochet pieces. I really adore old crochet pieces and any old linens.

Well this wouldn't fit in the chest . It is an old pic of my 3 oldest g.children. Justin, Brandi and Annisa .They are now 18 , 17 , and 15 . My oh my that seems impossible !Justin was sick when that pic was taken, he had a temperature and we didn't know it. But he kept smiling. Brandi kept taking her shoes off and Annisa wouldn't sit still ! I thought that poor photographer never would get that pic taken. LOL .

And here is my smallest little treasures.Haven is 4 and Brooklyn is 2 .

Hope you liked my treasures . I sure did enjoy showing them to you.
