I wanted to show ya'll some dishes. I found the little cloche at a store called "Ross", this is a new store for our area and I am finding some really good deals at them. If you have one near you check it out. I got the napkin and doilly at a garage sale.
Oh and the cake plate! I think I am getting a thing about cake plates. You know , like a collection thing about to get started ! I got this one at Ross also. It is really heavy . It reminds me of one my mother has, that was my grandmothers.
The big plate is from my great aunt Lena.I had 6 of these and found another one at a yard sale the other day. I was browsing in an antique store and found 4 bread and butter plates to match. I was so glad to find these, they were flawless ! I hugged them all the way to the cash register . I think they are so pretty . Now I have started looking for more pieces to go with them . I just like the hunt for the thrill of finding what ever it is I am looking for . But I really treasure anything that was a family members. It makes me go on a sentimental journey !

They are all very pretty! I love the doilies. I have been looking to buy some and I don't think they make them any more!!!! I take a sentimental journey when I pull out things that belonged to my family memebers as well. It's like having them right there with you.

Oh, all of these are just beautiful. I, too, LOVE cake stands and the glass domes. Just love 'em.

Hi Theresa.....We have Ross here...I have been going there for years...It is hit or miss but I usually always find something Fabulous. Your new found treasures are great. Love the cake stand.

I like the color of blue that is running through your pictures in this post. And I love those plates too, many different colors of roses and flowers. Really pretty.
I love your dishes. Don't you just love the hunt and finding something that matches a treasure you have at home. That is probably why we go treasure hunting whenever we get a chance.
