Been Shopping Again ............

went to" Old Time Pottery" , love that store . Can always find something I like there . I got these statues at a bargain price . The boy and girl were only $ 3.99 each . The girl on the table with the plate is smaller and she only cost $ 2.99
The plate with the bird came with the stand too and it was only $2.99 I got 2 of the plates. Don't know where to put them right now , but I will find a place . If I see something I like , I just buy it , then I find a place for it .
I am thinking about doing my extra bedroom in all white , that is why I got the boy and girl . It will take me awhile to do the room because I have ideals but no energy to go with it . I am a whole lot slower than I used to be and believe me I don't like it one bit . But it is better than being dead ! My hubby gets aggreviated when I say that , but it's the truth ! Ya'll have a blessed day ! I love all of you !

Good morning...
I so understand "the desire and ideas but no energy to go with them" bit. I am the same way...and so much slower at every thing now than when I was younger. It takes me so long to do a job now, I get tired just THINKING about it. haha
Well, I HAVE to dust and clean the living room today so....gotta get off here.
Have a good one!

Neat finds. Our OTP, closed. I used to find all kinds of nifty things there. My best ever was a mirror I saw in a Horchow or Ballards catalog for about $200.00. Old Time Pottery Price $29.99. I'm still using that mirror and wouldn't give it up unless I just had to!

Great finds, Theresa! And at great prices. Don't you just love finding treasures that leave a little leftover for lunch?

I know what you mean! My desire to get things done has not changed a bit, but my energy level is running on an empty tank! I get started and, in no time, I'm ready for a nap. But I've learned to be a little more patient about completing a project.

Gosh, you ladies with those stores should try selling those statues on ebay...but I wonder about shipping charges? Might be high. Those are gorgeous and so inexpensive! I wish I had one of those stores here, wow!

Great buys!!! :)

Hi Theresa,
"I have ideals but no energy to go with it"
"But it is better than being dead"

I am in this same way.
Love your sense of humor.
And having ideas means being young in the soul.

Really beautiful are those statues and the plate with the birds.

Good luck and God bless you!

Theresa, I know it's late, but I was out most of the day doing errands I want you to be the first to know I finally did the bathroom diva thingy. Now, I have to wait
for Sheila to come back from vacation. I can't wait for you to see it, I laughed myself silly.

I love your great buys at the pottery place. I have to say they look much more expensive. I am a bird lover and for sure would have bought the bird plates.

Thank you for your visit and comments on the shower post. Whew, I am glad that is over. It was fun to do it though. The food was so good. Too bad we don't live closer to each other. I could help you do that white bedroom. I love decorating. I admit I am slower too.

Hugs to you girl, Jeanne

I like all the pictures of what you bought. Everything looks like it belongs where you've put it! You got some good bargains too!

I have no energy in the summer. I just laze around and do what I want when I want! I know how hectic everything will be when school starts again.

take care,
Dawn

Hi Theresa,

You really got some good deals! Don't you just love a bargain?

Moving slow is good. Much better than the alternative. Take good care.

You know your old when you fall down and think- What can I get done now that I'm finally down here"
You got some good deals at your favirote shop.

Theresa~you find the neatest things! Some day you will have to build a bigger home! LOL! And THAT takes a lot of energy! Getting older sucks! I hate it! Seems as the work load gets bigger day after day~yet I know it's just me slowing down.
HATE--HATE it!
Have a great Wednesday!

It's fine that you are a bit slower because at least you are still with us. I'm proud of everything you do. Just keep going.

It does stink to get older, but I agree that it is much better than the alternative. Keep your sense of humor, Theresa. I love to read your posts!!
