I Wanted To Show You My New Dishes .............
I got some new dishes at my favorite antique store the other day. I will show you pics of the store another day. I fell in love with this china pattern . I don't have the whole set , but I bought all she had of it . I thought the hunt for the rest of it would be fun .
My Aunt and cousins gave me some money for Christmas and I used it to buy my dishes. The old depression glass pitcher belonged to my great Aunt Isabelle and my mom gave me the other pink depression glass seen on the table . I got the cloche a few weeks ago and would you believe I was walking through the kitchen last night and noticed a 6 inch crack across the top of it ! It just made me sick ! It must of had a tiny crack I didn't see when I bought it. I can't take it back , because the store is out of town . I just throwed that $ 12.00 away ! So in the trash it goes . Maybe I will find another one
The table cloth came from the Bahamas. One of my customers brought it back to me when she visited there . The boy and girl was given to me by another customer for my birthday. I was a hairdresser for 35 years and I have been given so many pretty things by my customers . Thank you for letting me share with you today .

Your tablescape is beautiful! You picked out some very pretty plates! The depression glass is beautiful too...I love depression glass! I have some that needs to get hung on the wall...I hope the plate holders don't show through too badly though.
Have a great day!
Kim
Oh...that pattern is beautiful! I just saw some of that at an Antique Store down in Monclova, Ohio a couple of weeks ago! So pretty...but alas, I already own 5 sets of china!! So I passed it by.
Your table setting is gorgeous!

Theresa! That is exactly the look I'm looking for my table! Your dishes are wonderful and what an adorable tablecloth! Love it! Hugs, Vanessa
Beautiful table setting; and dishes...! It looks so romantic!
I had to laugh with your comment on my blog—how true, and funny! Now that you’ve mentioned, I look like a gigantic garden ornament... heeh!
I always love when I see you in my blog; your presence makes me happy...
Love ya

Do you know the make and pattern of the china? Its very prety The table setting is very "English Country Garden." Just my cup of tea.

Hi Theresa! I just realized I didn't have you in my sweeties list, but you are now! Oh, what a gorgeous table! Those dishes are so beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen that pattern before. Now I just love pink depression glass and have a little bit myself. You have very pretty things. Too bad about the cloche! Maybe you could tie a ribbon around the little know and let the streames hang down over the crack.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
HI Theresa! Your table setting is beautiful! What is the pattern of your new china pieces? I might have some in one of the many boxes of plates I have collected. lol
Hugs, Sharon
Hi Theresa,
I love your new dishes! I think you made a great choice.
I have no doubt that you'll enjoy adding to the collection as you browse shops. I agree...that is alot of the fun.
I'm going to add you to my list!
Have a great day,
Diane
Those dishes are just beautiful! I also love your header. It looks great! Someone needed that $12 and it was meant for you to "give" it.
beautiful dishes and setup. Can we have our breakfast on the fine china?
Theresa, I love those dishes and everything on your table. You have wonderful taste with all your beautiful things. I have purchased damaged things before and I do what you did. Dump it in the trash. I don't like being reminded of my mistake. Smile
I just grabbed a minute to visit!
Love ya, Jeanne
