WELCOME .....come on in and let's chat awhile .
That is just fairy dust falling. Just knock the dust off of your shoes and come on in !

Here is DH with Queenie. She is a 1950 Chevrolet. She and I were made the same year. Sheesh ! Do I look THAT old ? She is still a work in progress ( like me ).She needs her upholstery done. And I could use some new upholstery too come to think about it ! She an I have more in common than I realized . She's a good old girl, I guess I'll let him keep her.

Theresa, what a cute post! Also a great looking car, and the man isn't half bad either!

He has great taste, both in wives & cars!

My husband would love Queenie, too. Men, they're all alike!

That's funny.....you made me chuckle. Love the colour of the car.

Queenie is beautiful, aren't you jealous? Smile. We belong to an antique car club and the cars can be so amazing. We do not own one, but family members are also members of the club and they have antique cars. We joined for the social part and because my brother-in-law is the President. I totally know how your dh feels about his car.

Love Ya, Jeanne

Hi Theresa, I love this post! I can really relate to this because my husband has a passion for collecting vintage cars. One day I have to post pictures of some of them! I have to say he doesn't have a name for any of them. He keeps buying them and I tell him its a sickness he has!
Thanks for the sweet message on my blog!
Love, Ann

QUEENIE is adorable!! And so is this story!!

My dad was into VINTAGE cars and this little story brought back some of the memories I have of working on those cars with my dad as he restored them! (I was the oldest of 3 girls and had no brothers!)

Thanks for the visit to our blog and the comment you left about our beautiful oil painting purchased at the GREAT price of $4!!

~Blessings,
Jan

Hi Theresa! It's so nice to meet you and thank you for stopping by my den. I'll have to tell Mr. Precious you said 'mother is always right'! Well, your Mister's other lady is quite a charmer!! My Mr. Precious would just drool all over the place seeing this!
Come see me again sometimes.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Theresa,

My husband has a red girlfriend. He loves her, and takes extremely good care of her (but I still get the breakfast in bed)

I love this post, Theresa! A 1950 Chevy is one of the first cars I learned to drive. Ours was white or light grey. That was in 1959.

Have a wonderful week. I published my 200th post with a little giveaway, yesterday. If you have a minute come on by the back porch.

.......BUT can she cook?

What a great paint color - she would look perfect housed in a shabby chic garage - you know, where men stash their 'toys'.

Glad you've weathered the years well - I think you are much prettier Theresa.

Hugs - Mary.
