YIPPEE ! THEY PICKED ME .............

Wow , I can't believe they picked me. The Antique Roadshow has narrowed down their submissions to this area and they picked me as one of the finalists ! I just can't believe it, although I sure was hoping. A friend of mine said she read in the paper that over 17,000 submissions of furniture were submitted from the surrounding area. I can't believe I am one of the lucky ones.
The letter is just stating when I am supposed to be there and the time, and that I might be picked to be televised. They are going to send a moving van to pick up the couch before the show. They said it would be insured the whole time it was in their posession. They will give me a verbal appraisal and I can bring 1 other item for appraisal and my guest can bring 2 items.
We are thinking about taking the big picture that hangs in the living room. There is a picture of it futher down in my blog.
This is making me real nervous. It seems like my plans always get spoiled when something important is happening to me. Wish me luck . I will keep you futher informed .

That is just the most exciting thing ever! The couch is amazing - I've never seen one quite like it. And I love your blue and white. My mother made me a blue and white double wedding ring quilt a few years before she died and I treasure it. Blessings, marlene

Theresa,
Thank you for the nice message! Everyone in blogland is so sweet! No luck with the garage sale. Didn't find anything and hardly sold anything. Not many people out the last 2 days.

Have a wonderful day!
