My husband called me to come to the front door this morning.And this is what we saw.Something got the nest of baby birds ! You can see part of one of the shells beside the pot.There is egg shell stuck to the fern also.I am pretty sure this is what was left of the babies. It looks like 4 little somethings laying there.what ever got them didn't even eat them ! The old mean thing ! My hubby said it was probably an owl or a hawk, because it lifted the fern right off of the nail it was hanging on. I haven't seen a sign of the momma or daddy, it might of got them too .What a way to start the day . :( :( :(

Oh how sad!!! The predator birds around here always find my babies (bunnies, birds, frogs and tadpoles). I know they need to eat but do our yards have to be their diner? Hope you have a better day!

How sad. I could almost cry. What an awful way to start the day. Hope it gets better.
Oh, darn. We had a snake get some of our baby birds one time.

Sad. We had a nest in our flowers at the door. A cat tried to get them one day...DH shouted at it!
