Shells will be pretty for a Summer display, or if you collect vintage mother-of-pearl type buttons and buckles, they would look great. Another idea is to add page of vintage sheet - roll and tie with pretty ribbon or old twine. You could tie more ribbon with perhaps old buttons, jewelry, charms etc. around the outside of the neck. If you have a collection of old wooden thread spools, filled or empty, they look great in glass. So much one can do - nice if you can add things you aleady collect.
Oh, I know....I know..... I JUST filled my tall vase with faux lemons and the bright color of yellow just sings....I think you will just love it. I got mine in a package of about 9, I think, at Walmart. They look great...oh, and I just love your jar..... xo bj
We have friends whose jar is filling with wine corks! Every time they celebrate with a bottle of wine or champagne, they write the date & occasion on the cork & put it in the jar.
I saw one in the antique mall that was filled with costume jewelry & bead necklaced. It was beautiful!
Hello! I have've got something similar to that and it's filled with some dried pineapples that I bought at Pottery Barn. They look beautiful and smell so good...and it's welcoming! xo Vanessa

I guess that depends on where you are going to place it. Maybe shells, pretty soaps, buttons, flowers, candy, etc.

Yes, I would put little guest soaps in, and keep it just for a guest bathroom.

Hi Theresa,
I'd fill it with lemons or seashells!
Hugs,
Donna
