Just letting you know what is going on in my life .....................

I said to myself that I have got to stop and put something on my blog. I want to thank all of you for being concerned about me . The Dr. is keeping a close eye on the lymph node they couldn't biopsy . I am having a CT scan about every 6 to 8 weeks now. I think this is too many myself . I am wondering if Dr. is trying to pay for a new boat or trip or something, ha !
Anyway, now to tell you what I have been up to . Hubby has almost retired , he only works every now and then. And I HATE it !!! I am so used to doing my own routine. This is such a big adjustment for me . And for him also. He has no interests at all. He has to go somewhere everyday. We are gone all day long and then come home in the evening and he watches his cowboy shows. Sounds like fun doesn't it , ha !
I am also babysitting alot. I have no time to blog anymore and it is depressing. So I will catch a minute when I can and let you all know what is going on in my boring life . I can tell you this much .... trying to live on a very reduced income isn't very much fun either.
I am so glad it is spring. I know this has been the longest winter I have ever spent .
Thank you all again for stopping by to see me, I love and miss all of you !!

dear one...you are being bathed in thought and prayer...the roads our lives take are often without road signs...and sometimes we feel lost...

but there are so many who think of you...just know that...and we are delighted to see you WHENEVER you can blog...but there should never be any pressure (glad you miss us/as we miss you) but no pressure, to be sure.

I am so sorry....maybe when your husband adjusts to his retirement he will realize that he needs a hobby? Stop in whenever you can...we will all be glad to hear from you!

Oh Theresa, I totally can relate to you! My husband was forced into retirement in 2007. His only interest outside of the home is his lawn and garden. During the winter it is such a struggle for me to be patient. My husband will not let me go anywhere alone. He has to go with me to Target, the grocey store, thrift shops, anywhere!! I feel like the little old lady who is driven everywhere by her husband!
I take classes anytime I can at church. I go to lunch and visit my friends whenever I can sneak away. WE babysit, so I can't do that by myself either.
Hang in there. Just try to keep yourself busy. I am trying to get my husband to join other retirees and meet for coffee or lunch, but to no avail so far.
I am sure your husband will find something to do instead of make you crazy!LOL!

I have MISSED YOU!!!
Maybe you can babysit less...I know it's hard to say NO to our kids...however I did do that with my daughter and now watch my Granddaughter 2 days a week, after school and it's better. Bummer about hubby...he does need a hobby!
Those DR!
I hope you can make more time for YOU!! It's very important...plus we miss you so much in blogland!
Warmly,
Deb :)

Hi Theresa,
I am so glad you are okay health-wise. Will you be planting a garden again this year? Hope your roses survived the winter. I like the look of your blog now. Spring won't be much longer!

So good to hear from you, Theresa!! I would not like to spend my days as you are, but just think of the sweet togetherness and how special it is to please your man!! (heehee) This too shall pass and you will get your life back and he'll find things to do. Try to enjoy! Yes, it could always be worse!!

Theresa, I am so glad to come and find you here. Every 6-8 weeks. Wow! I guess you should feel better safe than sorry, but I know ct scans are a nuisance.

I think you make your husband a never-ending honey do list. I kind of worry about retiring, too.

Theresa, Glad to hear your health has improved. Just know that you are in our hearts and prayers. Looking at your picture of your backyard, looks like you have been busy indeed. Enjoy these moments hubby, babysitting. They won't last for ever. Hubby will find a hobby and the baby will grow up before you know it. For now. Suzanne

Hi Theresa, So happy to see your post when I hopped over to visit today. Yes, you are on my prayer list my new friend. Did you know I am retiring Sept 30 this year? I am looking at this as a wonderful romantic adventure on litte income. I believe that HE gave us our miracle with the tumor that turned out to be a cyst and spoke so clearly to my heart that HE would make retirement possible. For us, this is a long awaited gift, 2 years sooner than I planned and I over the moon happy. It does take adjustment and I will continue to pray for you. I am sure after the first few weeks the two of you will be getting used to being together all day and work out compromises that suit each other. Oh yes! I love your header. Take care my new friend.

Hooray!!! I am soooo happy to hear from you Theresa. I love your header and your sweet photo with your pretty things. Your note card with your name is lovely too.

I think of you so often and you are always in my prayers. I pray for your health, your mom and the changes in your life to be positive. We are all spending less these days. Who knows what will happen to our economy.

Thank you for stopping by today. I had 13 for dinner tonight (family and it was potluck) and I am still tired from my trip to Florida. Nothing much is planned in the near future except a visit from my cousin Marilyn and her dh. They are easy company thank goodness.

Take care my dear friend.

Hugs and love, Jeanne

I tried to get to my computer earlier to see if you had posted but had no time...I was delighted to see that you did.
I have thought of you and prayed for you so much.
I hear you about going nuts that the hubby is home all day long every single day!! It nearly drove me nuts for awhile..I am used to it and enjoying it very much. The limited income...I DO NOT ENJOY...I feel like pitiful pearl all the time...:))
Come by when you can..and know that you are loved.

Hi Theresa, I think you must have hit a chord - most of us feel that way when our hubby's retire! And the income - GEEZ! All I can tell young people is don't buy all those toys, save for your retirement! Well, that's my 2 cents, I hope you have a great week. By the way maybe your hubby can join the Lions or Elks or ? They will keep him busy!
