Do you like tomato and mayonaise sandwiches ? ?

I have 7 tomato plants and I have tomatoes coming out my ears ! I have already put 8 bags in the freezer and we eat 3 or 4 fresh tomatoes a day. I have given some to mom and kids. And if you lived close to me I would give you some too , LOL !
I fry some green ones a couple times a week also. I haven't made my tomato pie yet.Usually I grow some basil just for the pie, but I didn't this year.

I love tomatoes with all my heart! I eat them any way, any time, any where! But only REAL homegrown ones, I am spoiled like that:) My brothers and one sister grow them now that my Dad passed away. It was his specialty! They know how much I love them and give me plenty while until they are all gone! If I lived closer, I would try yours too! Have a blessed day!

I love tomato and mayonnaise sandwiches. It has to be Hellmann's mayo. :)

You are so lucky to have all of those tomatoes!

Your pillowcases are beautiful!

Well, I wish we were close too! Our tomatoes have not a thing this year! During plentiful times, I put a spinach/cream cheese based mixture on top of thick slices and bake them in the oven!

I'm on my way over for one of those tomato sandwiches. There is nothing better. I put some tomatoes in the freezer tonight. They are so nice to have in the winter.

Yes, I do! And as a young girl, I remember Mom making us (we grew up on a farm) tomato sandwiches with sour cream instead of mayo. They were yum. And sometimes we added a thin slice of onion. Oh, now the memories flood forth.

Thanks for the reminder!
