Please Pray For Us ..............

Wednesday I had an appointment with the chemo Dr.It was just a routine visit.I had to have a chest xray before I went. When I got there everything went great, chest xray was clear, thank you Lord !I have also made it cancer free for another year ! It has now been 4 years since diagnosis and I am cancer free ! Praise the Lord ! I am so thankful !

BUT ......... the Dr. office called me yesterday and told me the Dr. wants me back in the office TODAY for a CT scan.It seems there is a concern about a bloodtest called a CEA Test.I looked it up on the internet and it is something about protein in the blood. And in cancer patients it is related to colon and pancreas cancer.
Needless to say we are terrified. I cried all day yesterday.
My mom had a pap smear and her Dr. called her to come back and that they were going to have to do a biopsy on her. She goes next Thurs. So we have had a double whammy to hit this family at the same time !
That is why I am asking for your prayers at this time.Prayer is what brought me through for the esophagus cancer, it was horrible, but that is another post later. So please remember us at this time.Nobody knows how much this means to a person til you have to go through this. And I hope nobody has to go through this.I also have 2 sons out of work and unable to draw unemployment benefits because they were independent contractors. The construction company shut down due to the economy.
I pray that you all would pray for the Lord to help all of us, I would so much appreciate it.

I don't know how long I will have to wait for the results, but I will post it here when I find out.Thank you so much and I love all of you!

GOD brought me to this and he will see me through it.

Theresa, your family absolutely will be in my prayers. That is so much to bear at one time. If you lived close, I'd come give you a hug and bring you some dinner. Your faith is amazing...hold on to it!

Theresa, Words cannot express how much I feel for your situation. We lost my husbands mom to esophageal cancer and my best friend since 7th grade to breast cancer. I personally lost my job last December and that is when I started my blog! I don't understand why some people have to go through so much while other people don't. Only God knows. I will definitely pray for you and your family. Hugs and prayers from me.

I knew there was a reason I felt such a pull to check my blog girl..oh sweet Lord..my heart is full and as I read this I ask that God send His word girl!!!! I Pray that that all goes well with the test and that it comes to naught and I ask that God open doors for your sons that seemed impossible to open..that they find favor in the eyes of man and be lifted up and restored even greater than before according to the word of God girl I agree with you in prayer this very instant and I bind the powers of darkness that have tried to destroy you and your family and I loose the power of God that he might show himself strong on your behalf...ohhhh sweet Lord Sweet lord...breathe on my sister even this very hour from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet let every cell and fiber of her being be made whole! We give you the honor and glory for it all Father and we thank you Lord for your love and mercy..He knows your name dear friend...he will move for you and yours...stand still and you too will hear the rustling in the mulberry bush...I love you girl.

Oh dear Theresa,

I am standing there with you in faith. I know the walk you are walking and He will see you through. When we are weak, then He is strong.
You are so blessed to have so many people sending prayers your way.

God will see you through and whatever comes our way is for His glory (if our walk is right). I haven't really visited blogs recently but I am so glad I saw this.

I will continue to pray for you and your family.
Talk to those mountains- He will listen.

hugs,
Barb

My dear friend, my prayers have already gone out to you, your mom and son. Times are hard with the unemployment situation. Our son lost his job too because of the business being sold. He went first then 50 more followed. Prayers do work and you and your family will be constant in mine.

Beverly called me because I have been totally involved with my grands and have done very little visiting. We have had fun but I'm getting tired, Everyone goes home on Sunday. Time for my blogging friends is very important to me.

Please keep us informed Theresa.

Much love and hugs coming your way.

Jeanne
I will be very anxious until I hear your results.
