Thursday, July 2

Hi welcome to Tablescape Thursday, to see more tables click on the Tablescape button in my sidebar to your right . My table today is just some odds and ends I have collected and would like to share with you.So here we go !
I bought this dish many years ago at a flea market. I just couldn't resist it !
Found these plates at Walmart last year, set of 4 each for $10.00.What a bargain !Found the napkins at a yard sale. This was a great yardsale, she had some good stuff !
Isn't this tea pot just adorable ! I'll tell you more about it below.

And this is my new tablecloth I found at TJ Maxx on clearance for $7.00

I found this sweet little teapot set at a church yard sale.It has the teapot, creme and sugar,4 cups and saucers.I got all of it for ,hold onto your hat ! Just $2.00 !!I love the little feet on them.

And last this is a faux plant I have. But the container is something I found on the side of a curb on trash day. LoL,it looks brand new and is made out of some kind of dried grass.I know this centerpiece is too tall when serving guest at the table but I wouldn't use it if I was having guest, I would resort to something else.

I hope all of you have a great 4th of July holiday and I will return next week !
Love ya'll !

Hi, Sweetie..I am so sorry i didn't think to give the recipe for the cornbread...I just reposted the same post but added the recipe. I know you will just love it. So good, hot with butter and blackeyed peas, onion and SWEET tea!! :O) I just gave the basic recipe but you can add onions, cheese, bacon bits...whatever you like. Sometimes we put hot peppers in and it is delish!!

Theresa, You have put together such a lovely tablescape. Everything is so fresh and summery looking. I think white dishes are just beautiful. I just adore your teapot, cup, saucers, creamer, and sugar. I would flip if I could find something like that. They are beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful fourth of July weekend.

Hi my friend, I'm home and happy to be here. your tablescape is so darned pretty. I am jealous. I love the white dishes and the tea set for so little money is awesome. Your tablecloth sets it off just right. Kind of like a luau celebration.

Most of all I am happy to visit you again. I have missed you Theresa.

This week is grand kids week, so my time is still not my own. I'm making chicken and dumplings with southern green beans. (Cooked a long time with bacon and onions.) Mmmmm. They are a gift from my niece's garden. Good thing she gave me a big mess of them. I am feeding 13 people, three meals a day for a week. Lol.

Hope all is well with you.

Love, Jeanne
