Some of the best places are in our own back door........

Some of the best places are in our own back door , oh gosh I already said that LOL. Oh well it's true. This a state park less than 45 minutes from my house . A lot of people go here and camp and play.It also has a big hotel there. This is Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tenn.

See the big rock formation hanging out there ? Click to enlarge the pic and you can barely see where you can walk out and look over. Not me ! I am terrified of heights ! Baby granddaughter took these pics. I am chicken and I hung back !

This is a pic of the falls. It is a long way down to the bottom.I didn't go because they would of had to have a crane to get me back up to the top, LOL !

Isn't this pretty ? Nature is amazing ! Now I gotta go get in the garden and take care of some weeds ! Yuck !

You certainly do live in a beautiful place. Everything looks so lush and green and the landforms are gorgeous.
We have so many beautiful places right here in our own USA.

Hi Theresa, You are so right. The photos of that lovely park are wonderful. Your granddaughter took a great photo of the falls. I would hang back too. Yikes. With all the mountains we have seen on this vacation, we miss our mountains so pretty and green. Rocks aren't nearly as pretty and lush. Still, our trip has been amazing so far. tomorrow I am posting all of the wildlife we have seen for outdoor Weds. I haven't downloaded today's photos, I hope they are good.

Until next time. Don't work too hard pulling those darn weeds.

Hugs to you my friend...Jeanne

The pictures of the park are absolutely gorgeous. Terry and I had always said "Someday, we're going to go there". Sadly, now that someday cannot be. Wouldn't it be nice if we did all those things we're going to do 'someday'? Perhaps I'll visit sometime and enjoy it enough for the both of us!

Many hugs......

Diane

Hi Theresa :)

beautiful pictures, but I couldn't have taken them either, because I really scared of heights too!

Your post about Becky just broke my heart. I'm so glad you planted a little reminder of her and that it came back this year.

hugs,
rue

I couldn't agree more! Sometimes we travel so far and at such expense to see things which are not half as beautiful as what is in the neighbourhood. Happy weeding!

Hi Theresa, I love your header. Perfectly you. This comment finds us in Jackson, Wyoming. We are going to visit the Teton mountains. This place is all flat and is referred to as Jackson Hole. We have snowed skied here in the past. I will say again, I think our Smokey mountains are far more beautiful. Did you visit my Outdoor Weds. post.? I have added some of the wildlife we saw. It was an amazing visit there.

Until next time...Hugs, Jeanne
