Slurp , slurp , licking my lips here ..................

Yahoo ! The Tennessee strawberries are coming in now . I look forward ever year to these wonderful strawberries. They are so good ! They have the best taste and I have never had a bad berry in the bunch that I buy every year.

Aren't they pretty ? These were picked straight from the field just a few hours before I bought them . Can't get much fresher than that !

Now wouldn't you like to have a bite of this ? ? ? ? ? I just love this stuff !
Does anybody have a good strawberry recipe they would like to share with all of us ?

Hi Theresa, you are making my mouth water with those beautiful strawberries. I have a whole little book full of strawberry recipes. I need to find it. LOL. That could take awhile.

You are right, I was 'showing off' my porch. I cleaned for half a day to take those photos. Spring cleaning is not for sissies. Sigh! I'm glad you liked it so that all my effort was not a waste of time. BIG smile here.

Love Ya, Jeanne

Mmm strawberries are sooo fantastic. I don't really have a strawberry recipe but my grandma would give us sour cream to dip the strawberries in and then you roll them in brown sugar and for some reason it tastes really good haha. Even though it sounds like some weird craving you'd have if you were pregnant LOL. But I think when it's strawberry season it's better to eat them plain because they are sweet enough :)

All the best,
Allison

Those strawberries are so pretty! Brings back memories of my berry picking young teenage days in Oregon. I usually lasted about three, maybe four days before I couldn't do it any more, it's tough work! The dessert looks so good and the little bowl it is in is beautiful!

Yummy those look so good! Here in Florida we actually have a strawberry festival in Plant City.
There is every kind of strawberry goodie you can think of there.
My favorite recipe is a Strawberry torte.
1 med container of cool whip and 2 boxes of fat free white chocolate pudding and mix it according to directions. I mix that together then I break up an angel food cake and start to layer and spread strawberries, cake and pudding layer after layer. Then take the biggest spoon you can find and dive it....I never ever have any go to waste. You can add blueberries to it for Memorial day or 4th of July.
Enjoy
Becky

Theresa, I have a recipe my grandmother used to fix and we kids loved it;
She called it ;
Strawberry Shortcake
break left over breakfast biscuits in half and layer in bottom of any size pan
Cut up strawberries ,sprinkle with plenty of sugar and stir up well.Pour in whole milk to liking & mix well.
Pour over biscuits and set in cool place till snack time.
yummy stuff.
