Oh Gosh , More Dishes ! .................

Do you think these dishes look too Christmasie ? ( duh , did I spell this right ? )I am telling you, I don't like this getting old stuff ! I cannot write in cursive anymore and I am getting where I can't spell some things. And I have always been a good speller.Oh well back to the dishes ! I thought I could use these all winter long. I just love red birds !

Just look at this sweet little fella !
Aren't they just the cutest ?
And I had to have the salt and pepper shakes too !
Oh my ! Then I spotted the tea set . Well I've got to have it too ! I just couldn't leave it there in the store you know ! LOL .

And then, hear the drum roll here ? There sitting in all of it's glory was the magnificient soup tureen ! Well heck , I might as well get that too. I needed a whole flock of them ... hehe . Can you see the sweet one sitting in my cloche , hunny bunny said I better get him outta there before he smothers !

And you know what, the best part is I got this whole set for 1/2 price . I paid less than $50.00 for this whole table full of dishes. I got them at Cracker Barrel .

I found these napkins at Tuesday Morning on clearance, I thought they were so pretty. I didn't have any chargers or mats , so I unfolded some of them and slipped them under the plates. They were just 50 cents for 16 napkins.
Well I better go now . I have been seeing a big ole bunny rabbit looking in my windows, I think he is jealous of the red birds. I think I will go let him in and feed him some chocolate ! Chocolate helps EVERYTHING !

I love the dishes and what a deal!!! I love a bargain and this was a HUGE one! I think they're perfect for winter. It keeps the color of the holidays without all the other accoutrements. And, the napkins are perfect! Beautiful!

Morning to you girl!!!! Ohhhh I have missed you...when the computer crashed I was just in another world! lol you got it looking so pretty over here..

love those dishes...my back yard stays full of Redbirds and I keep the feeders filled for them...

ohhhh I read back and saw that glorious Christmas gift from your hubby....ohhhh weee girl that buffet deserves a big old squeal & I hope you gave hubby an extra hug & kiss for that one! lol

Thanks for coming by to check on me dear friend...I am trying to get the house done so I can play outside when it does get warmer....I am thinking of painting below the chair rails with a creamy white and add the picture frame moldings...I have always loved to see that look in homes and magazines...I think it is the traditional side of me trying to come out! But if it just doesn't work for me I guess I know how to paint it right back! (shhhh don't let Bill know I said that! lol) Take care dear friend and have a great week!

Hooray my Theresa is back with the most wonderful cardinal red and white dishes. I saw them in the Cracker Barrel and loved them. They weren't half price then. (Smiling with you girl) The napkins are gorgeous and I wish we had a Tuesday Morning around here. My little small town USA is so far from everything. It's ok, it saves me money.

Have a wonderful day my friend.

Love...Jeanne

Dear Theresa,
I am so touched by the love and prayers that have surrounded me in the last week. For your prayers and the prayers of those that came from your blog to mine I am so thankful. We have felt the embrace of them.

Theresa darlin', those are fab-u-lous! I think they'll be beautiful all winter long.

I like the idea of using the pretty napkins as a placemat. Perhaps you could have them laminated or cover them with clear contact paper so they'll be reuseable? They are so perfect with the dishes!

Need I say you are one smart shopper? Great deal! Chris

Had to come back over to thank you for the laugh. I've never heard of being so ugly that you have to sneak up on a glass of water to get a drink, but I think you're right that she qualifies!

Wow, you did good, girl. And, such a fantastic deal!!!

They look wonderful. You might not want to let that rabbit in yet. He might scare the birds.

Hi there! It's nice to meet you. I adore your dishes! Wish I could find a deal like that! I've been looking for dishes with Red birds or Cardnials for a long time. Lucky ducky! I would use them as long as I could before putting them away for spring. Lovely.
All smiles in NC,
Alisa

Now, I got an apothecary jar and I got a cloche, but I will NOT begin collecting dishes--even dishes as pretty as these red birds.

About the charger: when did all of this start? I remember when a person would set the table and simply put a dinner plate directly on the tablecloth. (oh. oh. I heard that gasp!)
