Here it is " BLUE MONDAY " again .....................

Today I am showing you my blue dresden dolls . I had another one or two blues I think but I didn't have time to put it in this group. These were my mom's and she gave them to me several years ago. They are one of my favorite things my mom had .
She bought these about 45 years ago in Cologne , Germany. The little one on the left in the front has a chip out of the lace. That happened when my mom put them in the dishwasher , not only did she wash them in the dishwasher she added bleach also. It is a wonder she didn't ruin them ! My mother is a clean freak . After that I brought them home to live with me . I just give them a bubble bath in my sink now LOL .

Every Monday is Blue Monday around here . If you want to participate just click on the Blue Bird in my side bar to your right and it will take you to Smiling Sally's blog and you can sign up. Or if you just want to look at all of the other blues submitted for today just click on the names in Mr. Linky on the same site .

The figurines are absolutely gorgeous. I can't imagine putting them in a dishwasher. I just discovered Sally's Blue Mondays a few weeks ago. How fun.

Just gorgeous those little precious figurines. Here's a washing tip...always use a plastic bowl instead of the sink when washing them to avoid chips. Dish liquid is the gentlest...just a drop.

I learn SO much from you blog! Thank you for sharing. I have finally gotten around to photograph some of my blue stuff, now lets see if I can get it posted!

Hi and I LOVE your Dresden dolls. I have one, a little lady in pink and she hasn't had a bath, ever. I'm too afraid that her lacy dress would break. She was given to me from my best friend and I so treasure her.
Warmly,
Deb

They are beautiful Ladies! What a treasure!
When my folks lived in Europe (after I left home :( ) Mom already collected Hummels and got to pick up some more authentic ones in Germany. Not sure which of us 3 sisters will be blessed with them someday...probly not me! I'll get all her sewing machines etc as no one else in the family sews...but that's ok.
Hope your Ladies appreciate their bubble baths!

Morning girl...those are beautiful....I never heard of put what-nots in the dishwasher..I may have to try that! lol lol...

Ok...ready for your lesson on adding recipes to side bar?? Well if you insist on coming to class in your gown at least comb your hair! I'll try my best to explain this...

1. on your blog...go into edit post and find the post that has the recipe...click view
2. when that post comes up look up at the top of your computer screen...you will see the 'address' of that post..
3. put your mouse between the last / & the first letter (ex http:// Picket)see that space between / & p..you click your mouse there and highlight all the address to your right..
4. then hold your mouse over the highlighted address and RIGHT click
5.a box will come up ..left click COPY
6. now just go to your layout page and click add a gadget
7. scroll down to LINK LIST and click it
8. in the little box that pops up put your mouse in the http://line and left click and then right click and hit paste
9. it should put that 'address' right there for you
10. then you put the name and save!

Let me know if this works for you..any info I learn on this computer I will gladly share! lol

Hi Theresa, boy is it cold here today. How about your mountain? The sun is shining but it doesn't mean a thing. Brrr I want to get in bed under my electric blanket. I was supposed to go to therapy and my garage door wouldn't open. My dh is not here so I am stuck in the house. Not that I mind, I have a long meme post to do for tomorrow. Hope your day is a good one.

Oh Theresa they are so lovely!!! I've never seen these kind of dolls before. They are certainly a treasure. I had to chuckle about your clean freak mother. They don't look like that have been "over cleaned ". I'm sure the bubble baths are a nice treat LOL!

take care,
Dawn

Hi Theresa again, sorry for bothering you.
I'd like to know howe to put a pic in my post, but a pic with link. /without link I know/
If I click on pic I'll go to the site. Similar situation as with pics on right section. But in a post section there are not gadgets.
How it is possible to do that in post?
Have a nice evening!
