Taking a day trip to the park ................

Today hunny bunny, granddaughter and I took a little road trip.We went to Rock Island State Park near Doyle , Tn. This is about an hour from my house. We had such a good time. When we got there we found a nice picnic table, spread our tablecloth and fixed us a big ole bologna, cheese, onion and tomatoe sandwich.Yum-o-o-o ! Also had some Funyuns to go with it.It was such a beautiful day, the temperature was just right. We met 2 other people taking photographs also.It was so good and clear today. My g.daughter loves to snap pics, she took all of the pics you see here. Her name is Annisa and she is 15 years old.She is like my daughter, we helped our son raise her til she was almost 4yrs. old.
Hope ya'll enjoyed the trip, I know we sure did !

Morning, Theresa! Oh, my! What beautiful photos. Some look they they popped out of a fairy tale book! What a wonderful time you must have had. I just told my mother about the bologna sandwiches and she said, yum! I grew up eating those!!

Oh, you're a little techie, aren't you? I just backed up my blog so I would have it if my spiffing didn't work.

Thanks for the compliments on my new doo!

Theresa, Annisa (pretty name)is a photographer in the making. Terrific job with those pics. What a wonderful place to visit. I would love to go there too and have a picnic lunch with your same menu. Yum. I would add some sweet snack though, being the sweet lover that I am. I am going to check out that park on Google.

I know you must be very close to your sweet granddaughter because when you help raise a child that child is part of you. Even if she was only four when you stopped needing to care for her. Loved your post today my friend.

Love, Jeanne

I was at that park one time...when I lived in Tennessee. did you know there's a park by that name in Wisconsin, too? (That's where I'm originally from)

Thanks for the visit.

Hi Theresa,
Just dropped in from Cielo's. Lovely to meet you, I am new to bogging and would love you to come and visit. I will add Deena to our prayer chain in New York. My mom works at our church, and I will have her prayed for. Blessings to you.

You have a great blog. I was captivated by your family history and hated to see "continued"...can't wait for the rest. I am fortunate that I can too pass on family history because someone took the time to track it down.

On a funny side note, your "Little Darlins Stopped By" caught my eye because my moms name is "Darlin".
