Hey ! Let's go get a fried apple pie !
For those of you that are new, I live on top of a mountain out in the country and they grow lots of tomatoes , punkins , apples , green peppers , corn and several other veggies. Woodens Apple House is about 20 minutes from my house and is open from August until Thanksgiving. We go there several times a week until they close . That's why you can't see our eyes for the fat ! hehehehehe .
Just look at all of those lushious apples . They have acre after acre . You can't get a fried pie any fresher than this.....straight from the orchard .
This fellow is one of the pickers. They put the apples in those big wooden boxes .
Here we are at the entrance to "Woodens Apple House " , look at all of those punkins !
This little truck is loaded up and ready to go.
Here is a pic of the warehouse . They are busy as beavers here packing them up.
This is the entrance to the apple house. It is crowded here everyday til Thanksgiving.
Aren't the apples pretty ? And it smells so good in here !
This is inside the apple house where you can purchase several different kinds of apples.
And here is what everybody comes for . Fried apple pies. The other plate has an apple fritter on it .People come from everywhere to buy these pies.I bet they sell hundreds everyday .
Just look at all of those green tomatoes ! I wish I had some fried up right now and some ranch dressing to dip them in, yum, yum .
Here we have tomatoes straight from the fields ready to be cleaned and boxed and ready for market. I got me some more tomatoes today. I've got to have one more tomatoe and mayonaise sandwich before the frost gets them !
They bring the pumpkins out of the fields trailer load after trailer load. Then they are put onto semi trucks and shipped out to market.
And here are more punkins straight out of the field . Hope ya'll enjoyed your trip to the Apple House. I'll eat one for you !

No Theresa...I have not heard from Shelia yet :-( ...and I've changed the UPDATE to reflect that, so others don't think I have either. When any of us hear from her, we'll all be JUMPING UP AND DOWN with excitement, I'm sure.
