You better pass this post by if you don't want to gain 25 pounds......


PAYDAY BARS
1 yellow cake mix

1 egg

1 cup margarine

2/3 cups light karo syrup

2 t vanilla

1 12 oz package peanutbutter chips

1 10oz package mini marshmallows

2 cups salted peanuts



Combine cake mix, egg and 2/3 cup melted margarine. Pat into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 325* for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with marshmallows. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.Melt Karo, vanilla, 1/3 cup margarine and peanutbutter chips. Pour over marshmallow layer. Sprinkle with salted peanuts. Pat lightly. Cool before cutting.

Oh, my those look SOOO good! Now I was trying to be a good girl this week and now look what ya did! lol I love payday and will have to try these. I thank you for sharing but my hips don't!!

Hi Theresa, I am slow getting around today. Too many pinkie posts to visit. I do not need to gain weight but that recipe is a keeper. At Christmas I bake things that have so many calories you could become a diabetic. smile.
