This picture makes me so-o-o-o sad ......

We must never forget this day ! And sadly as I am to say it; alot of people seem to have forgotten about it. They seem to think about just themselves and their little family and the heck with the world . This is all I have to say, I am not good with words , but I do have very strong feelings for this day .
God Bless America !

Theresa, my sweet chick, you're excellent with words. Your heart is in them and I'm with you on that tragic day. Long live this God BLESSED nation!!!

Good morning Teresa

It is hard to imagine it has really been 7 years since 9/11. Those were lovely words and we will always remember....and hopefully many more can go on.

I've posted on 9/11 today as well...

Have a lovely day.

There have been so many wonderful tributes in blogland and on the radio as well. I will never forget September 11, 2001 and my heart still breaks for those that lost their lives and those who lost their loved ones. The stories were unforgettable and I am humbled by the memorials that occur in recognition of that fateful day.

Theresa I think this day is so emotional that it is hard to put those feelings into the right words to convey your thoughts. It is a day I will never forget. My heart is still heavy and grieves for all the lives that were lost.

take care,
Dawn

I've NOT forgotten.

I've just chosen NOT to post anything about 9-11 today.

I nearly lost my cousin and his wife. They were in the 2nd tower that was hit and were presumed dead, until we found them in a New Jersey hospital. After many months of hospitalization and rehab...they moved away from New York. They now live in Maine.

Jan

Theresa, I just realized you posted about 9/11. I never got back to your post yesterday. What exactly do the shoes mean? I assume they are from the rubble. How terribly sad. I disagree with your statement that you are not good with words. I think you have a special way with words. I am guilty of too many words. Smile.

We are on for the lunch date if God permits. :)

Love and hugs...Jeanne

I don't know how people could forget! I remember it like it was yesterday and my heart is saddened...
I relive that day every time I hear Alan Jackson's song "Have you forgotten"...
I pray for all the families who lost loved ones, I pray for all those who sacrificed in efforts...I pray for the America And the World!
