After we left the mennonite market we happened upon a winery. Hunny Bunny is sitting there taking it easy . When we went inside we got to sample the wine of course . Except for me , I don't really care for wine of any kind . I don't like alcohol of any kind , I just never acquired a taste for it , yuck ! Hunny Bunny bought him some blackberry wine .
When we left the winery we found a restaurant by a pretty creek on the edge of the mountains and had a nice dinner . The big fish by the creek was on the lower deck of the restaurant . We enjoyed the view while we ate .
After we left the restaurant we passed this beautiful covered bridge and I just had to have apic of it . The bridge had a locked gate at the entrance . It lead to a private commmunity .
I hated for the day to end , but it was time to "head towards the barn" as hunny bunny says !
Oh by the way , I cooked the cream peas today and they were delicious and the watermelon was the best I've had this year .

Sounds like a great day you had with your loved one! Now I do enjoy a glass of ice cold white South African wine now and again. We make the most wonderful wine wines, dry and fruity! Have a lovely weekend! Eleanor
Ah, covered bridges. I don' see them often enough.
Theresa, I have been AWOL. a wedding shower tomorrow should end the summer's festivities for me. I am having a knee replacement on Aug.25th. I haven't talked about it much, but my knees have been real bad for over a year. I'm tired of the pain.
I enjoyed the story of your trip with hunny bunny. I also enjoy a little blackberry wine. Your day was special, and how often do we get to do things with our dh? Just the two of you...so nice.
I want some of those creamed peas, my mother used to make them. A feel good memory for me.
Have a wonderful day, Jeanne
