Hi Theresa,
Congratulations on hanging in there for 100 posts!
I wanted to use my blog at first for mostly pictures...I didn't and still don't have much confidence in writing! But, my blog is changing and I'm branching out more...but the name will not change because I do believe that 'A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words'

I've had some major changes in my life in the past couple of years, as anyone could. I feel we are all on a journey as we travel through our respective lives. My journey is justified because I am making the best choices for me regardless of what hills and valleys I encounter.

Congratulations on 100 posts Theresa! A wonderful accomplishment!!

Hi Theresa...Congrats on your 100th post!!

Since our names REALLY are Jan & Tom, it's NOT too hard to figure out how our blog got it's name! LOL!! (I guess I wasn't in a "thinking" mood the day I got started!!)

On e-Bay, my store (when I had it) was Beyond Time Itself...where OLD becomes NEW again. We sold OLD silverplate flatware and glassware and other older stuff. (So, you see, I do have some imagination!!) LOL!!

~Blessings,
Jan

PS...how did you come by your blog's name?

Theresa @ Take A Sentimental Journey said...

Jan just asked me how I got the name for my blog. So here is the story .
Me and a friend of mine were going to open a Tea house and antique store . And we had the name "Sentimental Journey " picked out for the store and tea house . But I had to start helping my husband in his business and we had to dich the plans . Just a few months after that I was diagnosed with esophagus cancer . So God really does know best because I could have never kept my part of the tea house going. So when I had to name the blog our name for the house just popped into my mind . I had to add " Take A " to Sentimental Journey because I later found out that name was already taken . So I added " Take A " to avoid confusion .

Morning, Theresa! Congratulations on your 100th blog post! I love those little cookbooks along with the cute little graphics they use. Okay, my blog name is just because I love music and the word "song" was just too ordinary so the reason for "note songs". I also wanted to try to end each of my blogs with a little note song to go along with it. Please enter me in your give away. Oh, you could throw in that beautiful lamp, too!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Theresa, Congrats on your forgotten 100th post. What was it? Smile. I was just thinking about when my 100th post would be and what I will give-a-way. Oh, I'll think about that tomorrow. Smile. I also love the saying, "if it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done".

Now for my blog name. My sister is my backyard neighbor and I loved that she was right in view of my back door, so I came up with my name. The home in my name page is her home. Some people think it is mine.

Ok, I want to win the cookbook now! Just kidding, but it is a nice choice for a give-a-way.

One more thing, my sister is so busy with her business, there is no way she could blog. She sells on e
bay, in her store space, as well as a monthly four day show in Atlanta. She hardly has time to read mine. A great idea though.

Love and hugs, Jeanne

Theresa - Hubby & I are soon to be empty nesters, and I would love to win your cookbook to simply mealtime at our house! My blog is called The Middle Sister - I've signed up for it but haven't actually begun writing yet. And the name is obvious - I have an older sister and a younger sister! LOL

Congratulations on your 100th post, Miss Theresa!

"Tranquil Stitches" is my stitching blog. My cross stitch has gotten me through some rough times because I definitely find tranquility in putting needle & thread to fabric. It's my therapy! I also have a message board with the same name where all my dearest stitching friends visit.

My "life" blog is "Magnolia's Meadow." I'm a southern girl, and it just sounds so prissy! LOL

I look forward to many future visits now that I've found you!

Pink Slippers said...

Congratulations on 100 posts! Count me in on your giveaway. I got my blog name Pink Slippers because whenever anyone sees me with all six of my ducklings in tow they say, "you have your hands full" or "you must be busy" and I tell them "Yes but, I get to wear my slippers all day. My pink slippers. Hubby says I have too many. A girl never has too many slippers. They are pretty ones too.

It's pretty obvious how I got my blog name. It is a line from my favorite hymn - Amazing Grace. Additionally, we love to sit in our sunroom and listen to the sweet sounds of the birds.

The cookbook looks great. I can hardly believe you are at #100. Congratulations.

My blog got its name from our gardens. We are the Parkers and our gardens are a little slice of paradise. We painted a sign and put it on a post in our vegetable garden. When I started blogging, I just new that our story would be more of paradise.

I also have a recipe blog called parkers general. that is from the header I chose of an old general store.

I would love to have another cookbook from which to experiment for my blog where I post recipes that I test out on my husband.
Bless his heart.

HI Theresa, Loved your bathroom pictures. How i got my blog name is simply because of what i do and love. Shabby Cottage Designs. I started painting 3 years ago with no real businees or blog in mind. Heck i barely could operate a computer! My wesite is fairly new just opened it in november 2007. i love painting roses and creating shabby cottage decor. Stop by my blog anytime. I would love my blog link to be added to yours if that is o.k and i will add you to mine right now.

Hi Theresa...Hope I'm not too late to enter the contest> :) I've been trying to find some intersting blogs with notes from people around my age group...grandchildren/60/retired. Yours seems to share a lot of common interests! Yeah!
My blog (oh, I'm new to this and just learning!) came from my Ozark beginnings...Ozarktrees.blogspot. My daughter (the computer whiz!) was helping me one day and I needed a title quickly. That's how I came up with "Ozarktrees"...something I love and miss here in Oklahoma near all the concrete, asphalt, parking lots and malls!

I'm new here and I'm going to name my blog Never Enough Thyme because I like to cook and grow herbs (hence my name) and I like to use the freshest herbs possible so I am always sending my husband out to cut me some new ones!
I would love to win this cookbook so I can repay him with my culinary skills. ;-)
