These pieces are my newest finds. Someone put alot of time into these pieces and love. I can't wait to wash & iron them. When I get them on my table I will show them to you. I paid $ 3.00 for the white and blue table topper, it also has 4 napkins that match it. I paid $ 3.00 for the blue with the white stitching. The blue and white crochet one was .25 cents. All of the others were 50 and 25 cents. I remember watching my grandmother crochet when I was a little girl. Her fingers would just fly! And the thread was so tiny. I wish I had gotten her to show me how to crochet all those doillies ( did I spell that right ) ?
My mom taught me some basic crocheting. I would sit next to her and watch her. After a while I would just lean up next to her and watch her and almost go off to sleep. Oh my, that was a good memory! I remember one summer mom made doll clothes all summer. I had the best dressed doll on the block LOL . She made little diaper shirts and diapers to match and in all colors. I wish I had kept some of them. That was a good summer.
I have an Aunt that is going to teach some of the family children how to sew next month . She is going to teach them how my grandmother taught her how to sew. I think she is going to teach them how to make a pillow of some kind . I will make pics and put it on my blog. It sounds like a lot of fun. My Aunt can sew out of this world. She used to make all of my cousins party dresses for her pageants and won almost all of them in the party dress catagory. Everyone have a great and blessed day !

Theresa, I just looked in on your post and I love, love, love, Your yard sale finds. You are a girl after my own heart. Don't forget thrift stores and side of the road treasures! I have no shame. :)
It is not about money at all. It's about treasures that people just don't want anymore. You go girl!
Love ya, Jeanne
I would say that you had a very successful day of shopping. My favorite is the blue with the while. Have fun with your new pretties.

Love your finds. I always like seeing the hand work of the older days.
April is my daughter. She like I has a problem where her heart races and pulse goes crazy. I had to wear that belt for them to find mine. I have to take a toprol to regulate. He did the same for her. She will go to a specialist now. thanks for your concern.

Every child should learn to sew or crochet or knit (or all of the above). My Mom was a whiz, but was left-handed. She passed off teaching duties to my Grandmother. I can do a little of all of it and I'm grateful. Love your finds! VERY NICE!
Those blue and white embroideries are lovely. What finds! Wish I could come treasure hunting with you.People don't have yard sales here. Antique shops are the best place for these kind of finds and a lot costlier! Love Eleanor
